Settings → Users → Invite accountant. Accountants don’t use one of your plan’s user seats.

Business plan: People → Payroll. Add employees, set pay dates, and we send RTI to HMRC on every run.

Go to Banking → Add bank account, choose your bank and sign in through your bank’s own page. Feeds refresh every 4 hours. If a feed stops, reconnect it from Banking → the bank account → Reconnect; banks ask you to re-confirm access every 90 days.

If many customers’ feeds from one bank stop at once, it’s usually the bank’s side: check the status page first.

On Pro and Business, go to Taxes → VAT, connect to HMRC once, review the return and press Submit. We show your obligations and deadlines from HMRC. We can’t advise on what to claim; ask your accountant.

Sales → New invoice. Add your logo once in Settings → Branding. Turn on card payments to get paid faster; reminders go out 3 days before and 7 days after the due date.

Turn it on in Settings → Security. If you’ve lost your phone, use one of your backup codes; if you’ve lost those too, support can reset two-factor after checking your identity by email, which takes up to one working day.

On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password and we’ll email a link that lasts 30 minutes. If you don’t get it, check spam, then contact support. We never ask for your password.

Settings → Export: transactions, invoices, contacts and reports as CSV or PDF, any time, on every plan.

Settings → Subscription → Cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then your account becomes read-only for 12 months so you can export your data. You can pause instead for 1 to 3 months if you’re taking a break.
